A performance exploring the demonisation of black male sexuality through the subversion of the Eurocentric faun archetype. The accompanying composition ‘Black Faun (Sonata for MIDI Ensemble)’ is a pastiche of French Impressionist compositions such as Debussy’s ‘Sonata for Flute, Cello and French Horn’ and ‘Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune’.
